Food Safety Auditing

We work closely with clients to assure food safety, product quality and maintenance of high levels of hygiene achieved by:

  • In-depth food safety and hygiene audits against the British Retail Consortium's range of Technical Standards
  • Regular monitoring audits
  • Due diligence audits of suppliers.

Factory Design and Planning

A service to companies who are building new premises on greenfield sites or extending or refurbishing an existing business. The service includes liaison with architects, engineers and building contractors and regulatory authorities.

Food Hygiene training

We are a registered centre for the delivery of CIEH food safety courses at Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced level and have organised and conducted numerous seminars on Food Safety & HACCP in Europe, the Middle East, Central America and SE Asia. We can also undertake tailor-made courses to reflect your specific requirements.

Expert Witness

Commissions are accepted for both criminal and civil proceedings. The range of situations for counselling may include:

  • Disputes between contractual parties
  • Opinions on acceptance or rejection of products
  • Assessment of risk relating to food processing
  • "Due diligence" defence under the Food Safety Act, 1990.

Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP)

Investigating and devising systems to control contaminants which may be harmful to the product and ultimately to the consumer. An in-depth examination can be carried to set up a system for the control of physical, chemical and microbiological hazards at all stages in food production, storage and delivery. Certificated training for staff.

Cleaning techniques and schedules

Assessments can be carried out to evaluate the effectiveness of cleaning and disinfection standards within all areas of the food industry. Full reporting with recommendations and preparation of practical cleaning schedules to ensure that the highest standards of hygiene are achieved.
